Fantastic Dance School!
My daughter has been with Summerscales Performing Arts for three years and absolutely loves it. She started with just a couple of classes and is now proudly part of both the performance and elite teams. My daughter has been attending dance classes at Summerscales since she was 3/4 and loves it! She started off with 1 or 2 classes and now attends a variety of classes throughout the week. Her confidence has grown massively and I feel like Summerscales has been a big part of that. She has performed on theatre stages and school fields and even had the opportunity to dance at Disneyland Paris! We have loved SPA for over 30 years and multiple generations!

Most recently my son and daughter have attended.

We love the opportunities it provides, whether that be a fun dance class on a Saturday,  right through to a broader dance education of multiple genres for those who want to do more, importantly including how to look after your body through areas like stretch. The dance exams have also helped to build skill and confidence and provide a real sense of achievement ❤️

We also love the performance opportunities provided that have helped my daughter grow in independence and confidence.

Our 10 year old daughter has danced with SPA since the age of 3 1/2 and loves it! The quality of teaching and support provided to the children is second to none, and the school has a lovely friendly, nurturing, family feel to it. There is a huge range of opportunities available, whether it be dancing for fun, graded lessons, performance opportunities in displays and shows, or elite/competition opportunities. Attending Summerscales Performing Arts from age 9-18 not only taught me skills to equip me to become a professional performer; but also made me into the person I am today. Resilience, how to work in a team, commitment, time management, kindness, standing up for what you believe in as well as knowing you can do anything you put your mind to, are all qualities I learnt through the lessons at Summerscales as well as the personalities and modelled behaviour of the teachers themselves . I will forever be grateful for Tracey, Gemma & Laurretta for all they have done for me. Even though I left 8 years ago, I always know I will be welcomed back to a place that will always feel like home, with love and support. My forever family I was lucky enough to choose. My daughter joined Summerscales at 5 years old, she is now 12 and still loves to dance and perform. She loves being part of the Summerscales family! The level of teaching is really high and whether they want to dance for fun or become professionals the skills they learn are invaluable. There are lots of performance opportunities which are always fun and for those who want to take it further can participate in competitions. They even went to Disneyland Paris to perform!
Memories are made which last a lifetime.
