The quality of teaching and support provided to the children is second to none, and the school has a lovely friendly, nurturing, family feel to it. Attending Summerscales Performing Arts from age 9-18 not only taught me skills to equip me to become a professional performer; but also made me into the person I am today. Resilience, how to work in a team, commitment, time management, kindness, standing up for what you believe in as well as knowing you can do anything you put your mind to, are all qualities I learnt through the lessons at Summerscales as well as the personalities and modelled behaviour of the teachers themselves . My daughter joined Summerscales at 5 years old, she is now 12 and still loves to dance and perform. She loves being part of the Summerscales family! The level of teaching is really high and whether they want to dance for fun or become professionals the skills they learn are invaluable.
